Sam’s first release, Captain Records / Proper Distribution, April 2008. A collection of five moving stories of love, loss and shipwrecks; sung from the heart and accompanied by Sam’s own inimitable fingerstyle guitar playing. For the most part an intimate solo recording, ‘Bones’ is augmented with haunting backing vocals sung by Beth Atkinson. Artwork includes photographs inspired by each song.
